Summer of 2007 saw us making another visit yo the Big Apple. My daughter and I went over for Labour Day celebrations, although we'd been before, this was a bit different. I say so because we encountered trouble. We were in an area where we heard what sounded like gunshots, to tell you the truth we didn't wait around to find out whether or not that was the case. We suddenly grew wings and fled the area, later on whilst watching tv we realised what exactly took place.
All in all our visit was great, we saw family and friends, and above all we went shopping which was the highlight of our trip. Here is something which I thought was quite funny. We went to Bloomingdales to shop, as we came out of the building and waiting to cross at the lights 2 American ladies asked us for directions to some place or other, we had to inform them that we were visitors ourselves and couldn't help them.We must have blended in splendidly with the American people. What do you think.
